Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Hi, I'm Rupert—the Muscovy duck with a heart as big as my waddle. My gender is currently a mystery, but my personality is crystal clear: friendly, curious, and calm. I love exploring, sunbathing, and a good splash in a clean pond. I'm looking for a forever home with a safe outdoor space and a pond or tub for swimming. I thrive with daily fresh greens, duck pellets, and a tasty treat now and then. I adore mud baths and will happily follow you around for gentle scritches near my neck. I’m good with other calm animals but I’d like a gentle introduction. A flock buddy or another friendly pet helps me feel secure. I adapt well to routine and enjoy simple enrichment like new toys and puzzles. I’m healthy, curious, and eager to be part of a loving family. I may be shy at first, but I’ll reward patience with curious eyes and a soft cluck of thanks. If you think you can provide me a cozy coop, fresh water, and daily love, I’m your guy.
