Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Gucci is a seriously sweet Shar Pei who just loves her people. She’s the kind of girl who wants to be right by your side, soaking up all the love and giving it straight back.
After doing an amazing job raising her puppies (who are now all weaned and off on their own journeys), it’s finally Gucci’s turn to find a home where she can be the centre of attention.
She’s a sensitive soul and can feel a bit worried in busy or unfamiliar places, so she’s looking for a calm, relaxed home where things aren’t too hectic. When she’s unsure, she sticks close to her people and looks to them for reassurance – it’s very sweet, and with time and patience, she’ll build her confidence.
Gucci would do best with a family who’s home more often than not, as being left alone can be stressful for her. She’d love a home where she can move between indoors and outdoors and just hang out with her humans throughout the day. Think chilled walks, quiet time together, and a nice predictable routine – that’s her vibe. Busy walking spots, dog parks, and beaches won’t be her thing.
Gucci would love to meet any children or dogs already in the home to ensure they are compatible.
Overall, Gucci is just a gentle, loving girl who needs a patient home to help her feel safe and settled. Give her that, and you’ll have the most loyal little shadow you could ask for!
