Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Walter is a smart, playful boy who is ready to find a home where he can truly be part of the family. He loves being around his people and is looking for a home where he will be welcomed indoors and included in everyday life.
This clever boy already knows several cues including sit, shake, down, and crawl, and he enjoys learning and engaging with his humans. Walter loves to sniff and explore the world around him, so he would thrive with plenty of sniffy walks and outdoor adventures.
Walter is a big fan of tennis balls and especially enjoys catching them mid-air.
He can be a little strong on lead, so a harness is recommended to help make walks more enjoyable for both Walter and his handler.
Walter would be best suited to a home with older children however may be open to younger kids, any children in the home will need to meet Walter at the time of adoption.
Walter must also meet any resident dogs prior to adoption - he would do best with a calm, tolerant female dog companion who can handle his initially pushy greeting style. A secure yard with solid 6ft fencing is essential for this adventurous boy.
Walter is a fun-loving, intelligent companion with so much potential, and he’s ready to find a family who will give him the love, guidance, and inclusion he deserves.
