Dewi's Story

Dewi is a gentle, affectionate little pup with a heart full of sweetness and a bright curiosity about the world. He's the kind of dog who melts into your arms during cuddles and lights up with joy the moment he sees someone he trusts. 🌟 Personality Dewi is soft‑natured, friendly, and eager to be close to his people. He loves exploring, learning new things, and being part of whatever you're doing. Whether it's playtime, a quiet moment on the couch, or a walk around the yard, Dewi is happiest when he's by your side. 🏡 Ideal Home He would thrive in a loving, patient home where he can continue to grow in confidence. Dewi is still young, so he's looking for someone who can guide him gently as he learns routines and discovers the world. Families, singles, or couples - he's ready to bond deeply with anyone who offers him kindness and stability. ❤️ Why You'll Love Him Dewi is pure sweetness - gentle, loving, and full of potential. He's ready to give his whole heart to the person or family who welcomes him home. If you're looking for a tender, loyal little friend, Dewi might be the perfect match.

What should I feed my puppy?

Your dog's diet should be based on a high-quality, balanced premium commercial dog food that is suited to their specific life stage (puppy, adolescent, adult, pregnant, senior) and health condition.

The amount of food your dog needs will depend on factors like their size, breed, age, and activity level. However, it’s important not to overfeed or underfeed. Your vet can weigh your dog, assess their body condition score, and offer feeding recommendations.

To prevent bloat, which can be life-threatening, adult dogs should be fed at least twice a day and should not engage in exercise right before or after meals. This is especially important for deep-chested breeds like Boxers and German Shepherds.

Make sure fresh drinking water is always available. Do not give your dog milk as it can lead to gastrointestinal issues.

Should I feed bones to my puppy?

Bones offer dogs nutrients and mental stimulation while helping remove tartar from their teeth. However, bones can also break teeth, cause blockages, and carry harmful bacteria. Consider these factors to make an informed decision for your pet and family’s wellbeing.

Dental chews are a good alternative if you wish to provide your pet with entertainment that assists with teeth cleaning. Visit RSPCA World for Pets for a range of quality dental chews for your dog.
