Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Pandora
This lovely older lady is all about the quiet life. Pandora enjoys relaxed daily walks (she’s great on the lead!) and would benefit from a little gentle exercise to help her stay happy and healthy.
She’s previously lived with children and absolutely adores attention — pats and cuddles are her favourite! Toys aren’t really her thing though… she’ll give them a sniff and move right along.
Pandora has lived with another dog before and can be social, though she may be a little enthusiastic when meeting new friends. Mealtimes are her favourite part of the day, so a slow feeder and separate feeding if sharing with another dog will help set her up for success.
A secure yard with solid fencing will suit her best, where she can relax and feel safe.
If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion to share your days with, Pandora is ready to settle in and steal your heart.
Visit your nearest RSPCA Adoption Centre, RSPCA Op Shop, RSPCA World for Pets or Petbarn store and adopt an animal in person. You can also apply to adopt an animal online.
