Bernard's Story
Meet Bernard - a shy but friendly Muscovy looking for a peaceful new flock to call home.
Bernard may start off a little reserved, but once they feel safe, their gentle and sweet nature shines through. They're calm, polite, and happy to potter around with other poultry. In fact, Bernard's current coop buddy is a goose, and they get along wonderfully! They'd be perfectly content joining an existing flock of ducks, geese, or other easygoing backyard birds.
While their name is Bernard, we can't say for certain that they're male - so this lovely Muscovy could be a Bernard or a Bernadette at heart!
If you're looking for a quiet, good‑natured addition to your flock who's happy to keep to themselves but still enjoys friendly company, Bernard may be the perfect fit. Let this sweet, shy soul settle into your home, and they'll reward you with calm companionship and plenty of charm.
WHAT MAKES A MUSCOVY DUCK SPECIAL?
Muscovys are not related to any other duck, in fact some believe they are descended from geese rather than ducks.
If you think this duck might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today and include photos of your enclosure/coop and water source/s along with photos of the fences and land they will be roaming on.
