Information

Animal is injured, sick or neglected and requires attention.

Pretending to be a koala was not going to work as a lifestyle choice for Klaus, so help needed to be called in to rescue him.

The tree Klaus was calling home was very tall and thin which meant that the rescue process was going to be difficult and incredibly challenging.

Our RSPCA Rescue Officers were called to assist, but weren’t able to rescue Klaus alone! With help from our friend and fellow animal lover Tony from TreePeeps, Klaus was finally rescued and returned to his very worried cat mum!

Check out how cool calm and collected Klaus was on the way down!

Klaus may have escaped his latest shenanigan with his nine-lives intact but, it’s safe to say that he won’t be going tree climbing anytime soon.

If you see a sick or injured animal, call us on our 24/7 Animal Emergency Hotline 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625).
