Hi, I’m Nugget

Hello, my name is Nugget and I'm ready to find my forever home!

I am a very sweet dog who absolutely adores people - they are my favorite! I may not be as fond of other dogs, so I would do best in a home where I can be the center of attention.

I am a big boy, but I am very gentle. Sometimes I don't realize just how big I am, so it's important that I go to a home with older children to ensure I don't accidentally hurt anyone while playing. I will need my new family to be home more often than not to help me feel safe and secure.

I love to play, but I'm not quite sure how to play with toys yet. However, with some patience and guidance in a loving home environment, I may learn to enjoy them. While I prefer to be the only dog in the household, I might be open to sharing my space with a very respectful older female canine companion.

It's vital that my new home has secure fencing, preferably a minimum of 5 feet high, as I am a big guy and could easily step over anything smaller. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will always put you first, then I might just be the perfect match for you!
