Jo is a strategic and enterprise thinking problem solver.  Passionate and collaborative, her professional mantra is to create shared value in everything she does.

Jo has more than 15 years experience in executive, leadership,and project management roles, with positions across the finance, insurance, retail and government sectors. Her expertise spans human resources and corporate affairs. 

She has an established track record of success in building company reputation and organisational culture, achieving outcomes with and through internal and external stakeholders, and developing strategies that enable the business vision.

Jo's non-executive roles include being a member of the Brand, Marketing & Fundraising Advisory Committee for the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital Foundation and she is also the Chair and a Non-Executive Director of the Instil Group (Institute for Strategy, Innovation & Leadership).
 
Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Government (Double Major: Industrial Relations & Public Policy) from Griffith University and an Executive MBA from Melbourne University. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Certified Professional of the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI).
 
Jo is passionate about community and social causes especially animal welfare, and has been a longstanding supporter of the work of RSPCA Queensland.  Her personal interests include travel, reading, all types of movement from boxing to yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
