Jo is a passionate and collaborative, strategic and enterprise thinking problem solver. She thrives in purpose driven transforming organisations who are focused not only on achieving financial sustainability, market relevance and organisational health, but also creating a step change in how they impact their customers, employees, stakeholders, and community.

Jo has more than 15 years’ experience in executive, leadership and non-executive director roles across strategy, corporate affairs, and people and culture. She has worked across a variety of industries and sectors including financial services, energy, transport, retail, not for profit, and government. Jo holds expertise in organisational strategy, governance, people and culture, stakeholder engagement, external relations, brand, communications, and community/social investment. Her non-executive roles have included being a member of the Brand, Marketing & Fundraising Advisory Committee for the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital Foundation and as the Chair and a Non-Executive Director of the Instil Group (Institute for Strategy, Innovation & Leadership).

Jo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics & Government (Double Major: Industrial Relations & Public Policy) from Griffith University and an Executive MBA from Melbourne University. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and a Certified Professional of the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI).

Jo is passionate about community and social causes especially animal welfare and has been a longstanding supporter of the work of RSPCA Queensland.
