Hi, I’m Gojira

Hi there my name is Gojira and I'm a Central Bearded Dragon!

You would usually see my species in central areas of Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia and Northern Territory. We love to scurry around, soak up the rays on warm rocks and climb onto tree trunks.

I enjoy sunbaking and soaking up the warmth in my hide as I'm from a hot climate zone. I love supervised outside time to catch some rays and my favourite activity is pretending to be a solar panel! I am happy for you to pick me up out of my enclosure and like to rest against your warm chest.

I'm an omnivorous lizard, which means I require a wide range of vegetables and insects to help me stay healthy. As you can see, I'm a pretty big dude so I need a lot of healthy foods! As a mainly terrestrial lizard, I love to hang out on the ground but still need a raised platform or rock to bask on. I also require a UV light, heat lamp and a hide if I need a getaway.

If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! https://www.rspcaqld.org.au/expression-of-interest-to-adopt
