Hi, I’m Daku

My name is Daku and I'm a Centralian Carpet Python (or you might hear people call me a Bredli). My earthy tones and markings help me blend in with the desert environment. I'm found naturally in the deep rock crevices, caves and tree hollows of Central Australia. We're a reptile that makes for a popular pet among enthusiasts across the country.

I enjoy coming out of my enclosure for time in the sun. Just remember that I'm small so pick me up slowly or I'll get a fright!

I'm little at the moment, so I would prefer a small enclosure that I can feel safe in. It needs to come with all the amenities of a hide, water bowl, sticks to climb, UV light and heat lamp. I will eventually grow to be around 2 meters and will require a new enclosure as I grow, so that I can stretch out comfortably.
