RSPCA Qld has offered to help the unlucky holders of Dick Smith Vouchers by honoring them at its World for Pets stores and World for Pets online.

“We felt incredibly sorry for those who have been affected,” said RSPCA Qld CEO Mark Townend. “Many of them will have pets and this is a way we can at least give them something in return.”

Dick Smith Voucher must be sent via Registered Mail to RSPCA Queensland (Attention Retail) prior to the 31st of March 2016. The card needs to be accompanied with a valid email address and contact telephone number.

World for Pets will then email the person a voucher for 50% of the remaining value of the Dick Smith Voucher.

When shopping instore, the person simply brings the Dick Smith Voucher into one of the World for Pets Stores and World for Pets will offer 50% of the remaining value of the Dick Smith Voucher to be used in store.

The only condition is that the customer must spend at least double the amount of the remaining value on the Dick Smith Voucher $100 in the transaction. (e.g.- remaining value on Dick Smith Voucher $100 = World for Pets $50 value. Spend $100 in store, pay $50 cash & redeem $50 from the Dick Smith Voucher)

“At least voucher holders are getting something. It seems heartless that the company offered them nothing.”
