RSPCA Queensland is appealing for information from anyone who may have seen a kitten being dumped in a park in Redbank Plains.

The kitten was found by a member of the public tied up in a plastic bag in PJ Galligan park on April 25

“Why would someone do something like that?” Said RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty. “ They could have taken it to the Council or the RSPCA. Why callously dump it and why tie it up? This is yet another example of why people need to do the responsible thing and get their pets de-sexed.”

RSPCA Qld’s Operation Wanted once again kicks off in June and runs for three months with close to 200 vets throughout the State offering a 20% discount on de-sexing fees.

Anyone who has any information regarding the kitten is urged to call our 24/7 line 1300 ANIMAL (1300 264 625).
