From Wednesday 23 until Monday 28 June, all Adult Cats across our RSPCA shelters and Op Shops will be $29* to adopt! We currently have over 260 cats looking for homes right now. Wouldn’t it be great if they could all cuddle up in a loving home this winter?
RSPCA Spokesperson Michael Beatty says, “With school holidays just around the corner, it’s the purr-fect time to welcome a cat into your home!
“It’s a difficult time at the RSPCA right now with our resources stretched to 90% capacity across our shelters and in foster care. There are just thousands of animals we’re caring for behind the scenes, so if we can help some adult cats find their ideal homes sooner that will really help!
“While we’ve reduced our adoption fees on adult cats, we know that a pet is for life and we’ll be ensuring our pets and potential adopters are the best possible matches for each other.”
