Eileen is a veteran of the public service, who has led some great teams, and been involved in delivering several large projects and reform initiatives. Her grandad and dad put her on a horse before she could walk and let her feed the orphaned lambs; so, began her lifelong passion for all animals and their welfare. Today she follows her passion by making a positive contribution to the work of RSPCA, in creating ‘a life worth living’ for all animals.

Eileen has completed studies across several disciplines including education, arts and animal welfare. She is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and the Governance Institute of Australia.

She has been an active volunteer across several areas including hockey team management, RSPCA fostering and is also a Director on the Board of RSPCA Australia and the Veterinary Surgeons Board, Queensland. Eileen is a keen gardener, lover of colour and decorating; and of all creatures great and small!
