This rewarding volunteer position involves the cleaning and daily care of the wild animals (eg birds, possums, lizards and turtles) that are currently in care at our Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre located in Eumundi. This position would suit any applicants that are passionate about animal welfare and have a commitment to learn about the daily care required for our wildlife.

This role involves preparing specific diets, meticulous cleaning and animal handling. The role is available Monday-Sunday, 6.00am -10.00am, 8.30am – 12.30pm, 10.00am - 2.00pm, 1.30pm- 5.30pm and 3.30pm - 7.30pm (availability varies).

URGENTLY require cover on 1.30pm - 5.30pm shifts.

We ask for a minimum commitment of one shift per week. Before commencing you will be required to attend an orientation and all training and support will be provided.

PLEASE NOTE: As part of volunteering with us, it is highly recommended that before handling animals you have an up to date Tetanus vaccination.
