Volunteer Prosecutions Transcribers and Proof Readers

*Can work in office or at home, need to attend Orientation before commencing*

Are you skilled at listening and typing? Do you have an interest and be willing to keep confidential when the Inspectors attend warrants and raids?

Then we need you! 

We are looking for flexible Volunteers to transcribe for us. You must have excellent, clear written communication skills. 

Day and time flexible.

If working from home you need to have internet and computer access. 

Location: Wacol or your own home

Position ideal for people who can work autonomously with speed and accuracy. 

Tasks: Clerical and administrative duties e.g. data entry, scanning, filing, transcribing.

Transcribing experience 


Ability to understand and precisely follow instruction
High level accuracy and attention to detail (including spelling and grammar)
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word
Ability to cope with details of animal neglect and abuse and keep these confidential (at all times)

Please note not all applicants will be successful for this role. We are looking for a very specific skill set who match our requirements. As part of volunteering with us you will be required to purchase an RSPCA Volunteer T-shirt for $30 (only if working at Wacol) . It is also a requirement that before handling animals at the RSPCA you have an up to date Tetanus vaccination.
