RSPCA Op Shops make a real difference, with all store proceeds going straight back to helping RSPCA animals in need, some of which are our frisky felines who reside within the store awaiting their furrever homes. As a not for profit organisation, we rely on the support of the staff, volunteers, customers and community to be sustainable. Our op shop teams play an important role in contributing to the success of the RSPCA by helping to raise much needed funds.

This rewarding volunteer position involves driving the RSPCA OP Shop truck. You will be collecting donated items from the local area and delivering furniture to customers once purchased. There could also be odd jobs/errands that need to be done. As the number of driving jobs vary depending on the day any successful applicants will be required to assist in the sorting section at the Op Shop while not out in the vehicle.

Please note that this role does involve some heavy lifting.

We are looking for a volunteer that can commit to one 5 hour shift per week for a minimum of 3 months. We currently have vacancies available Thursday or Friday half days.

We will provide you with the necessary training and orientation for this volunteer role.

Benefits – A great opportunity to make a huge difference in your local community and meet new people!
