RSPCA Pop Up Adoption returns for its fifth year on Saturday 12th January at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre!

The event will bring together dogs, puppies, kittens and cats from RSPCA shelters right across Queensland and staff and volunteers are hoping to break the record set last year when a staggering 432 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens were rehomed on the day.

“It was exhilarating and so encouraging. Everyone was over the moon,” said RSPCA Qld spokesperson Michael Beatty.

“Animals currently in foster care will also be coming,” continued Mr Beatty. “The whole day will be very family orientated. We will have information for pet owners and pet items available for purchase, as well as displays by RSPCA QLD Reptile adoptions, the foster team and School for Dogs. It will be a great day out for all and we can’t wait to see you there and help you find your forever pet.”

RSPCA Qld wants to point out that regulations prohibit people taking their own animals into the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Their adoption staff will provide people with resources that will help them introduce their pet to their new adopted animal.
