Nadine and Elle were lucky to escape with minor injuries after being hit by a car on Gympie Road. The 7 year old koala had her baby on board when they were rescued by the Moreton Bay Koala Rescue team and transferred to the RSPCA Wildlife Hospital in Brisbane for treatment.

After a check up by the RSPCA wildlife vets it wasn’t long before mum and bub were given the all clear to be released back into the wild.
