Learn dog body language
While our canine companions can’t speak to us verbally, we can learn a lot about what they are saying through body language.

Meet Marmalade, a beautiful girl who is looking for a patient and understanding adopter to help her sweet personality truly shine. Marmalade came into care from a property with several other cats and kittens. With plenty of time, patience, and a reset into a quieter room, she completely opened up and finally revealed her deeply affectionate side!
Because of her past, Marmalade will be quite timid when entering a new environment. She needs a special adopter who understands that she will take a little while to settle in before she can show her true self. She is best suited to a home with older children who can read basic cat body language and know exactly when to give her space. Given her history, she may do well in a home with other felines, and she may also adjust to a calm, social dog if her new owners carefully monitor their interactions. If you can provide a peaceful home and the gentle patience she deserves, Marmalade will reward you by blossoming into a loving, devoted companion.
