RSPCA Queensland is committed to increasing knowledge and skills to enable the community to enjoy healthy relationships with animals throughout their lives. Through education our educators aim to inspire all to create a future that's kinder to all animals.
We want to encourage compassionate and empathetic behaviour towards all animals, celebrate the human-animal bond, and inspire the community so that we can prevent animal cruelty and reduce the need for us to rescue and rehabilitate animals in the future.
Each year, our education team reaches more than 13,000 people through our range of education programs – RSPCA AWARE free education platform for Teachers & Students, school and early learning centre visits, school based education programs, school based excursions, community group excursions, holiday and weekend programs, and virtual space programs. Our hearts swell with pride when students and community members tell us how much fun they’ve had and thank us for opening their eyes to the concerns of all animals.
