Intermediate Program
This program is packed with engaging activities that will help you to build on the foundations of the Basic Program or Junior manners programs.
We aim to add more distractions and life like situations as well as building duration and distance whilst making the learning experience fun for you and your dog. This is a great opportunity to refine your skills and build understanding between you and your dog.
Your dog will learn how to walk close, stay in various positions for longer periods of time and under greater distractions. Your dog will also have closer interactions with other dogs to improve your dog’s tolerance and sociability. You will also teach your dog how to respond to visual or verbal cues at a distance and build a reliable response to the “come” command when called.
This program also provides an opportunity to begin working your dog on a flat collar (if they are used to a head collar) and is a great preparation for Flyball.
