Calm Classes

Is your dog boisterous?

Does your dog bark or whine when it sees another dog or animal?

Is your dog too excited to train?

Does your dog have a short concentration span?

Does your dog lunge to greet other dogs and people?

If this sounds like your dog, the Animal Training Centre has developed a 4-week course of Calm Classes designed to help you and your special dog develop the coping skills necessary to bring your dog into a group class environment, or to be able to take your dog out of your house without being pulled off your feet, or fearing its reaction.

Calm Classes will help to develop the relationship between you and your dog by providing more information about the communication you dog is giving you and exposing the messages you are giving to your dog unknowingly.

This program will provide an opportunity to show your dog how to be calm, and how to remain calm. Dogs will be given the opportunity to learn to observe other dogs in a calm, safe environment.

We will look at the products on the market that may be useful to help you manage your dog.  We will also look at things that can easily be done at home to help.
