Be a Hero - Help the Homeless!

The RSPCA has animals that need your help – and a home to call their own! Animals that may not have had the best start in life, but with your help and a little heart, we hope to give them a Happily Ever After!

Meet Asia:

Asia came to us bald, stinking and starving. She had an allergy that her previous owners had failed to treat. With treatments and a little TLC, she has blossomed into a charming dog with lovely golden fur!

She is calm, cuddly and loyal. She clearly holds no grudges – she seems to understand that even though you may meet one person who treats you badly, doesn't mean the next one isn't going to be your new best friend! We could all learn something from Asia. She is looking for a new home now, one with a family that have the time and love she deserves and that will understand her veterinary needs.

Meet Tom Tom & Phoenix:

Tom Tom the Persian cross and Phoenix the Chinchilla cross were rescued by the inspectors from appalling living conditions. After a court battle that took well over a year, they are finally free of their previous life and ready to find a fresh start.

Remarkably, despite initial suspicion of people, they are now incredibly affectionate and gorgeous looking cats due largely to the love and attention they were shown by the dedicated staff and volunteers.

They need to be indoor cats for their own safety, and they must be adopted together: how could anyone bear to tear them apart now, after everything they’ve been through?

If you have room in your heart and home to help these animals by adopting them into your family, you will need to undergo an initial interview and potentially suitable applicants will be added to a list of interested persons. A property check will be conducted in order of appearance on that list. This check is intended to confirm a safe and secure environment for the animal/s you are interested in, as well as to ensure that prospective owners have an understanding of, and commitment to, the individual’s requirements.

Proof of identification will also be required. For those living in rental properties it is also asked that written confirmation that a dog/cat is permitted to be kept on the property is provided by the landlord.

Please note that expressions of interest will be taken in the order that contact is made with the Adoption Team Leader. Asia, Tom Tom and Phoenix will be adopted to the first appropriate home in the order of listing. All Applicants will be contacted via email as they find a new home. Thank you.
