On Saturday 12 March this year, bike enthusiasts and social riders joined RSPCA on a 300 km ride through picturesque south-east Queensland, to help save animals lives.

The fifth annual Ruff Riders started at the Brisbane RSPCA Animal Care Campus at Wacol, the biggest animal welfare facility in the southern hemisphere, where riders had a chance to meet sporting legend Craig Lowndes. The riders stopped at O’Shea’s Crossing Rest Area before continuing onto Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast for lunch at Ricks Garage. The day drew to a close at the Dakabin RSPCA Shelter with a meet and greet with some of the lovely adoption dogs there.

A total of 63 bikes and 85 people were a part of Ruff Riders this year and over $30,000 has already been raised through online fundraising from this event!
