Bequests and Legacy

The RSPCA’s Bequest Program offers people the opportunity to leave a gift in their will to help the Society continue to protect the welfare of animals.

Bequests can be directed to general welfare, or to specific areas such as the funding of our veterinary areas (companion, farm animals or wildlife). Bequests may also go towards education to enhance awareness of animal welfare and encourage the community to protect our animals.

Every gift left to RSPCA Qld makes a difference – no matter how big or how small. The amazing generosity of our friends in the community has helped to increase our inspectorate services, build new facilities, and develop education programs throughout the state. It has been the will of our supporters that has ensured that RSPCA Qld can help over 42,000 animals every year.

These legacies last many lifetimes.

The Bequest Program includes the Pet Legacy Program. This program gives bequestors with pets the peace of mind of knowing that, if something should happen, the RSPCA will aim to find the best possible home for their loved one/s.

For further information on leaving a bequest to the RSPCA, please contact our Bequest Coordinator on 07 3426 9937 or click here to send an email.
