RSPCA Qld AGM

The 2012 RSPCA Qld Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday the 29th of September in the Auditorium, RSPCA Qld Animal Care Campus, 139 Wacol Station Road, Wacol. The meeting will commence at 10am with light refreshments following the meeting.

Registration for the day will be open from 9.30am. The meeting commences at 10am in the Auditorium, RSPCA Qld Animal Care Campus, 139 Wacol Station Road, Wacol.

The following people are nominated for the RSPCA Qld Board:

Andrew Antoniolli

Andrew AntoniolliAndrew Antoniolli is currently serving as a Local Government Councillor on the Ipswich City Council after first being elected in 2000.  His portfolio within council includes Animal Management, Community Safety and Population Health.  He is currently the Deputy Chair of the Local Government Association of Queensland (LGAQ) Environmental Health Reference Group.

Andrew previously served in the Queensland Police Service between 1990 to 2000, attaining the rank of Senior Constable.  His primary roles within the QPS were operational, however he specialised in areas of Crime Prevention and Crime Intelligence.

Andrew currently serves on a number of community organisations including Chair of the Ipswich Area Crime Stoppers Committee and Board Member of the Ipswich Events Corporation and Ipswich Arts Foundation.  He is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified – Qld).

He has been an RSPCA Qld Board Member since 2010.

Lisa Bundesen

Lisa BundesenLisa is a Chartered Accountant with both Commerce and Economics Degrees from the University of Queensland as well as a Masters of Transnational Crime Prevention (with Distinction) from the University of Wollongong.  Lisa is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  Lisa operates her own consulting business as a Forensic Accountant specialising in risk and fraud prevention advice to Not-for-Profits.  Previously Lisa was a partner of PPB Advisory and National Head of Forensic Services for BDO.  Lisa has over 23 years' experience as a Chartered Accountant.

Lisa has been on the RSPCA Qld Board for six years, is Treasurer and chairs the Finance and Risk Committee.  She is also a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee of RSPCA Australia and a Director of Wesley Mission Brisbane. 

Peter Hayes

Peter HayesPeter Hayes was elected as Business Manager (Treasurer and Op Shops Coordinator) for the RSPCA Gold Coast & Hinterland Branch in September 2004. In 2006 he became President of the Branch and in June 2007 was elected to the RSPCA Qld Board and in November 2009 became Board Secretary.

Sydney born Peter brings a wealth of business experience to his role having worked in International advertising since 1965. He has worked with some of the largest and most prominent clients around the globe. These include The Coca-Cola Export Corporation, Procter & Gamble, Nestle, Esso Oil and the Mars Corporation in countries that include Australia, New Zealand, Canada, South Korea, Mexico, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and the United States.

He was most recently the Senior Vice President in charge of Latin America based in New York.

Alison Sherry

Alison SherryAlison's skills in the field of organisational consulting and human resource management acquired over 20 years, has enabled her to competently perform principal roles in strategic overview activities and business reviews.

Alison has held executive, strategic, tactical and operational positions with private partnership and publicly listed companies (ASX & FTSE) as well as public sector. Alison's commitment to raising the standard of human resource practice is well respected among her peers.

Alison has an MBA from University of Queensland, is a Fellow of the Australian Human Resources Institute (FAHRI) and a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Alison's personal interests include travel, cycling and animal ethics. She lives in Brisbane, is married, has two adult children and two dogs.
