Margaret Gibson

Margaret graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1972. She was one of the first intakes in the combination degree BComm LLB and graduated with both degrees.

In 1972 Margaret joined the Brisbane office of Price Waterhouse as a graduate in the firm's tax practice and was promoted to partnership of Price Waterhouse in 1983. Since retiring from PwC in August 2005 Margaret is a non-executive Director, sitting on the board of the Australian Tax Office.

When not working, Margaret's interests run to classic cars and sailing. With a keen love of animals, she is also a Governor for The World Wide Fund for Nature.
