2009 RSPCA Qld Infront Diamonds and Purrls Gala Dinner

RSPCA Qld’s 5th annual Gala Dinner is on once again at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre’s Plaza Ballroom, on Friday 17 April 2009. Generously sponsored by Infront Solutions, plus an array of supporting partners, the 2009 RSPCA Qld Infront Diamonds and Purrls Gala Dinner will surely prove to be bigger and better than any before.

With your help, we hope to surpass the record $167,000 raised at last year’s event. This unique and prestigious event promises to be an evening of fine wine and dining, entertainment and fun, whilst raising vital funds to safeguard the future of thousands of animals in our care.

Our goal is clear

The aim of this year’s event is to help raise vital funds to complete the building of the new and much-needed RSPCA Qld Animal Care Campus, due to open at the end of 2009. Located in Wacol, the regional centre will service South East Queensland’s growing population. The RSPCA Qld Animal Care Campus will be the primary destination for animal welfare services, adoptions, education, and advice.

Last year RSPCA Qld provided care and shelter for almost 41,000 animals and investigated over 12,000 cases of suspected cruelty. It is simply because of statistics like these that we organise fundraising events such as our Gala Dinner – the proceeds of which will help us to ensure that we can continue providing vital care, protection and life-saving emergency treatment for thousands of animals across the state.
